Terms of payment

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in the 6-Day Moonlit Temple Ritual Luxury Detox Women’s Retreat (“Retreat”), organized by The Moonlit Temple Retreats (“Organizers”, “we”, “us”). By booking and attending the Retreat, you (“Participant”, “you”) agree to these terms.

 

1.⁠ ⁠Acknowledgement of Nature of Retreat
1.1 You understand and agree that this Retreat is a wellness, nourishment, and lifestyle experience that includes a gentle juice-based reset, movement practices, breathwork, meditation, and ritual designed for general wellbeing and personal exploration.
1.2 The Organizers and associated staff are not licensed medical professionals, dietitians, therapists, psychologists, or healthcare providers unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing. They do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
1.3 All information provided by us about diet, juices, fasting, movement, or other practices is intended for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional healthcare guidance.

 

2.⁠ ⁠Assumption of Risk & Personal Responsibility
2.1 Participation in the Retreat activities, including but not limited to juice fasting, yoga, movement practices, ritual work, or other physical or emotional processes, involves certain inherent risks. These may include discomfort, blood sugar fluctuations, dehydration, digestive changes, psychological responses, emotional release, pre-existing condition aggravation, allergic reactions to ingredients, slips or sprains during movement, and other unforeseeable events.
2.2 You confirm that you participate voluntarily and at your own risk, and you assume full responsibility for your health, safety, and well-being during the Retreat and related activities.
2.3 You agree that the Organizers, staff, venue, affiliates, contractors, and agents are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense arising from or related to your participation in the Retreat.

 

3.⁠ ⁠Contra-Indications & Health Considerations
3.1 You represent and warrant that you are in good physical and mental health and able to participate in Retreat activities.
3.2 You agree to consult with a qualified healthcare provider prior to attending the Retreat if you have any of the following (non-exhaustive) conditions, which may make certain activities or the juice fasting component inappropriate or unsafe:

 

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding

• Eating disorders or history of disordered eating

• Diabetes (Type 1 or Type 2) or other metabolic conditions

• Cardiovascular conditions (heart disease, high/low blood pressure)

• Severe anemia or blood sugar regulation disorders

• Autoimmune diseases requiring medical nutrition therapy

• Current cancer diagnosis or active treatment

• Recent surgery or injury within the past 6 months

• Renal (kidney) dysfunction

• Thyroid imbalance or serious hormonal disorder

• Severe gastrointestinal conditions (e.g., Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS flare-ups)

• Severe psychological or psychiatric conditions

If you have any concerns about these, we strongly recommend consulting a medical professional before attending.
3.3 You agree to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, medications, or other relevant health information prior to the Retreat.

4.⁠ ⁠No Medical Advice or Guarantees
4.1 The Organizers do not provide medical advice or treatment. Any guidance on juices, fasting, or activities is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
4.2 Participants are responsible for seeking independent professional advice if they require medical, legal, tax, or other expert guidance.
4.3 You acknowledge that results and experiences vary among individuals and the Organizers make no guarantees regarding outcomes or benefits of participation.

 

5.⁠ ⁠Release and Waiver of Liability
5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Organizers, facilitators, venue providers, agents, and affiliates from any liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action relating to any loss, damage, injury, or death arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Retreat.
5.2 You waive any rights to pursue legal action for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during, prior to, or after the Retreat in connection with your participation.

 

6.⁠ ⁠Emergencies & Medical Treatment
6.1 In the event of an emergency, the Organizers may arrange or provide first aid, access to medical care, or evacuation if reasonably necessary.
6.2 You agree that if you require medical assistance, you are responsible for any costs associated with such care, including ambulance, hospital, or specialist fees.

 

7.⁠ ⁠Travel, Insurance & Logistics
7.1 You are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents, visas, and travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
7.2 The Organizers are not liable for travel disruptions, delays, lost or stolen personal items, or any events outside our direct control.

 

8.⁠ ⁠Cancellation & Refunds
1.⁠ ⁠Deposit 100% refundable if cancelled 90 days before retreat startings date. Beyond that point, the deposit is not refundable.

2.⁠ ⁠Full payment is due 8 days before the retreat starting date. The full amount is due even if you fail to attend the retreat.

3.⁠ ⁠You can transfer your retreat package to another person if needed.

 

9.⁠ ⁠Conduct
9.1 Participants agree to act respectfully and responsibly toward others, maintain a safe environment, and follow the guidelines provided by Facilitators.
9.2 The Organizers reserve the right to ask a Participant to withdraw from the Retreat, at their discretion, without refund if their behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

10.⁠ ⁠Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Severability
10.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States of America, in which the Organizers are legally registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10.2 You expressly agree that any dispute, claim, or cause of action arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the Retreat, or your participation therein shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the United States, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
10.3 You acknowledge and agree that although the Retreat is physically held in Greece, this Agreement is entered into with a United States–based company, and all contractual, legal, and liability matters are governed by U.S. law.
10.4 If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

 

11.⁠ ⁠Acknowledgement
By booking and attending the Retreat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
